It has already been confirmed that it’ll be loaded with a whopping 48MP of a rear camera, 690 FPS Slow-Mo video recording and impressive 4000mAh non-removable battery. But it now adds notch-less display and 7th-gen optical on-screen fingerprint scanner.
Based on a report from Redmi, 7th-gen on-screen fingerprint scanner is backed by a 3P lens and has 7.2um ultra-large pixels. This scanner is 30% more accurate and 100% high photo-sensitive as compared to the previous generation scanner. Moreover, the area of the scanner is increased by 15%. The Redmi K20 UD fingerprint scanner also comes with DSP acceleration technology which increases its speed of unlocking by 10% compared to its predecessor, while increasing the success rate by 30 percent under direct light and low temperature. According to the image shared by Redmi, there is a smartphone without any notch and it’s likely to be Redmi K20. This is consistent with all previous leaks – suggesting that K20 is backed by 20MP selfie-motorized camera which pops up from the top. Most important of all, Redmi K20 along with K20 Pro, received 3C certification and it’s confirmed that a Vanilla K20 will have a support of 18W fast charging while K20 Pro will have a support of 27W charging speed.
