Step #1. Launch Notes app on your iPhone or iPad. Step #2. Tap on the arrow from top left to see Folders. You might have to tap twice if you were inside an individual note. Step #3. From bottom of the list, tap on Recently Deleted folder. Step #4. To recover a single note, swipe left and tap on purple folder icon. Now tap on the folder of your choice. To recover multiple notes, tap on the three dots circle icon from top right → tap on Select Notes and select the notes (or tap move all). Now tap on Move To… and from the folder list, tap on the appropriate folder. Note: If you have no personal folders, you will most likely see two folders – iCloud and Notes. Step #1. Visit iCloud.com on your Mac or PC and sign in using your Apple ID credentials. Step #2. Click on Notes. Step #3. Click on Recently Deleted from bottom left. Step #4. You may also right-click and then use the Move to option. For recovering all recently deleted notes, select all deleted notes by clicking on one individual note from second column and then pressing Command(⌘) + A. Now Control-click or right-click and then click on Move To. You may also just drag all selected notes to a folder to recover them.
How to Restore Deleted Notes on iPhone Using Backup
It is always a good idea to make regular backups of your devices. You may do so using Finder on Mac or iTunes on PC. You can also conveniently use iCloud backup. If you have an important note that you believe might be in an old backup, you may restore it to your device. Third-party tools like Dr. Fone, iMyFone, and PhoneRescue also let you recover the deleted note from iTunes backup. If you are the owner of a shared note and if you delete it, then it is removed from the Notes app of everyone you shared it with. You (and only you) can recover it from the Recently Deleted folder. If you are a participant and delete a note that was shared with you, it is removed from your Notes app and does NOT go inside Recently Deleted.
