How to Retrieve Audio From Video on iPhone and iPad
There are quite a few audio extractor apps for iOS that can get your job done pretty well. However, the one that has lived up to our test is Audio Extractor – Convert mp3. It’s available for free and works reliably. Plus, it lets you extract audio in multiple formats such as mp3, m4a, m4r, ogg, wav, flac, wma, aiff, aac. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch running iOS 8 or later. You can upgrade to the pro version ($0.99) of the app to remove ads. Step #1. First off, download Audio Extractor – Convert mp3 app on your iOS device. Step #2. Now, open the app and ensure that the Original Video tab is selected at the bottom. Step #3. Next, tap on the “+” button at the top right and choose Import Video in the menu. Step #4. Next up, choose the video which audio you want to detach and tap on Done. Step #5. Up next, tap on the “i” button to the right of the video you have just imported. Then, choose Extract Audio in the menu. Step #6. Now, you can choose from multiple audio formats like mp3, m4a and more. I’m going to select mp3. Tap on Start to kickstart the converting process. Once the audio has been detached, you can access the file in the Processed tab. Then, you can save it to the Files app by tapping on the “i” button and choosing Open In. Then, select Save to Files and drop it in your preferred folder. That’s pretty much it!
